Our Approach:
We work at the intersection of academic research, industrial application and national/European policy making. Our work is triggered by the analysis of the consequences of emerging disruptive fabrication technologies and our extrapolation of their impact on democratic, economic and justice systems. We typically mobilize further actors and try to develop solutions in a range of groups and networks, some of which we initiate. We also collaborate with the German government to create relevant conferences.
Projects and research interests:
- Establishing authentic pseudonyms as a strategy to support the principle “One Person, One Voice”
- Developing trust anchors and other elements of a trusted ecosystem
- Product verification infrastructures (with standardization)
- Creation and implementation of AI Quality and AI Ethics frameworks, including building a standards-based AI Trust Alliance as well as founding an AI Quality & Testing Hub.
